This is a myth. He was only ever injured at Brisbane because they mismanaged his injury. He hasn’t been injured in almost 4 years

Out of all locks Bird is:

1st for try assists
1st for tackle busts
3rd for offloads
Top 10 for tackles

Has some errors and penalties in his game but is a beast with the ball.
And he's only 28.

People remember the trajectory he was on at the Sharks and how it all fell apart when he went to Brisbane, but since then he's settled down into a really solid player with all the attributes we need.

Yes he needs more discipline but he wouldn't break the bank and would be a much better lock or edge player than RFM for example.

A possibility at lock with a lot of experience at the right price. The thing I like about bird is his aggression. Actually was nice seeing Tevita Pangai Junior wake up playing against him.8-)

Would be good but we don’t neee him really we got sicc back rowers already.

Assuming Crichton gets hectic we just need a genuine halfback, and a prop.

Wouldn't mind Su'a from Dragons if he is available. Would even take Blocker.

Lol, we are an injury magnet. His knees couldn't handle playing for the Bulldogs

Bird or Harrison Edwards before RFM. Mariner is passionate but offers nothing as a ball player. Bird is skillful and an enforcer type, Edwards is young and developing, has some ball playing skills, a high work rate and can play big minutes.

Heartbeat! Straight into LOCK!

Get Hunt too and you sort out 13 and 7.

Almost back to career best form and smokey for SOO in my opinion.

I would take both Sua and Bird if Dragons chip in. Need quality forwards and both are imo

We don't need more lazy players that haven't reached their potential.

The only Dragons player I'd want is Ben Hunt.
Wouldn’t say lazy from what I’ve seen he’s strong has a good fend does a hell of a lot more than some of the fuckwits we got ..clean swap for rfm
