The best way to get rid of criticism is to perform better so they have no ammo.

True True.
Still cant help but to feel for the guy,
Its just one of those slumps that you cant shake.
He did pretty well last night though, His confidence might be pretty shot?

DJ is only human. Some people seem to think that sports stars should have some super thick skin. Of course negative words affect him, as they would anyone else.

Just because they may not reveal it, do you honestly think that other players aren't affected by negative criticism? Seriously, come on. Of course it would play on anyone's mind.

Ive seen it written before that DJ is a confidence player. If hes confident he can be quite good. Not BK good, but acceptable.

i think we looked alot more settled when he came on. He did the job, but no doubt, we need kimmorley to win week 3 and then , god willing, the GF.

thank god the services of this imposter will no longer be
required this season or ever for that matter.
A couple of fluke flick passes and everybody thinks he played well.
What about his cross field running and crap passes to marked men?
not to mention his pathetic defense.
bugger off daniel and learn how to keep your eyes on the football.

That is because he is a rubbish player.
terrible
horrible
scared (he nearly always has a look)
No, it's not because he is a terrible, horrible player.

It's because the media always look to cause and effect relationships.

We lost a game - Kimmorley wasn't there so it must have been Holdsworth!

He proved everyone wrong last night. Even though he wasn't the main reason we won, the media will treat it like that.

The Chastity came down to a lack of groupies

And polecat of we are thinking of the same cross field running, its the same play kimmorley and Roberts use all the time, except this time Roberts decided not to run in so the play went to ****, you could even see D.J holding up waiting for him

Something seriously wrong in your analysis.

Roberts played terrible against the Tigers, yet people chose to blame DJ.

Our forwards dominated last night. We dominated possession and field position, and Roberts passing and kicking in the opening 20 mins left a lot to be desired. Do we still blame DJ for Roberts' lacklustre performance?

He has been copping crap for a while now and needs to keep positive and keep things in perspective, how many people stand in for Kimmorely when he,s injured?
The people putting him down are probably responsible for his error count, he should know by now not to let the arseholes get to him and be proud of himself.

To be honest he deserves to keep his spot over Roberts when noddy returns. Roberts has had one shocker after another

Guess you didnt watch Rd25...

Holdsworth has NOTHING on Roberts with Kimmorley there.

Gee you guys have short memories.

Holdsworth is at best solid, and he couldn't have thrown the long pass that helped create our first try last night either.

Roberts >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DJ

I think you are the one with the poor memory champ, ever since his MOM game against the Broncos he has not lived up to expectations, that's is even by his own admission.
