I agree with lots of your points, but you missed one...... another thing Mbye has over Hodko right now is he can slot into the centre role, thus allowing him to be there.

If you think all on his own, Mbye has EARNED a full time fg spot so far? then I imagine we do have totally different opinions....... has he done better than Hodko so far this season? yes, I believe he has. I believe he has made some very good steps forward, but being a little better than a guy playing on one leg isn't quite enough IMO. Playing at their best.... Hodko is still better, add to that Mbye can do much the same job in other positions, why should Des make a call to drop one and weaken another spot? (so far).

To the point of the thread...... calm the **** down, I see our current situation being very much tied to that Souths game, if you still don't agree.......... check Souths win/loss record since then, it hurt us both, only one could have decided to not roll over and decide it was ok for our guys to take a hit there.

The season is far from over, and the current bump is pretty hard to blame on Des.
That's it tho hokkos playing on one leg, and playing poorly!! Yes playing at their best hokko is still better, but problem is he hasn't played at his best for a long time!! And mbye has been playing better than him!! So if your going to keep one player in the side over another simply coz his best is better than the other guy it's not a compelling case!! That's like saying I'm guna still but money on phar lap to win because at his best his better than red cardeux!!! Even tho his dead just like hokkos future nrl career

Sure..... except they both played, so that isn't the case.

Also, Mbye doesn't look like a 7 to me.... maybe a 6, but even with JR playing with no brain so far this year, he's the better 6 at his point, so what are we even talking about here?

IMO putting Mbye at Centre and leaving Hodko in the 7 is weakening 2 positions.

Loko & Stanley have it all over Mbye in the centres. Even though Loko has not played first grade in a while he is a specialised centre. Now is the time to use Loko, the club has invested heavily in his rehab and put up with his off field antics. If they dont use Loko now than God knows why the club spent all that time and money with his rehab.

Mbye obviously has it over Hodko. Slap a 6 or 7 on Mbye its all the same thing.

In our current situation we are a lot stronger with

Stanley/Loko in the centres and Mbye in the halves than Mbye at centre with Hodko in the halves

Loko? .......... ok, imo you just lost a whole lot of credibility. Your argument is bring in a guy who has played 3 games of football in 2 years, and none in FG, put Mbye in #7 with no experience really either, so we can drop Hodko?

I, like anyone else with eyes has seen Hodko hasn't been going well, I just don't think you throw 1 or 2 other guys a spot they don't deserve just yet to allow you to drop him. Hodko is going badly...... so, these other guys should be stepping up and forcing their way in, not waiting for enough to be enough and get a spot by default.

Its all about completions. Hasler has been talking about completion since 2013. But its all about completion apparently. Hold the ball and we can have world peace too. Just catch the ball, look clueless and surrender the set - 100% completion. Mission accomplished. Target reached.

You can't be serious. Without des we don't make those grand finals nor do we sign Brett Morris. Also, we haven't lost any players we wanted to keep since he has been here. The players respect him big time.
Actually brett came for his brother not for des. Only trex came for des, oh and cleal
