I believe at seasons end the conversation will be who is better? cook or Grant?

They are both good players for different reasons.
One has amazing physical traits and the other is Cam smithlike.

On the balance, youll go for the kid ten years younger I guess.
But if you had to sign one for a year... interesting Q. Might be threadworthy in that alone.

Cam had a style that shielded himself to injury.
If grant can replicate that he would be worth it.

I was on the Grant hype train before he debuted. And we missed our chance to sign him before he went to the Tigers.. Now he'll cost a fortune.. Whatever we could offer, the Broncos and new Brisbane team would offer more plus he's from Queensland. So I can only see him staying at Melbourne or going to those two teams.. Not to mention he's off contract in 2023. We need a hooker before then!

He's also had several knee/leg injuries that have made him miss 4-6 weeks last season and already this season which make you worry about his durability for an investment that size..

Considering Daryl Clark is a top 5-10 hooker in Rugby League and could be another Cook like player in the NRL and he'd cost 500-600k, he should be the one we pursue and go all out for..

Only thang with Daryl Clark is he isn’t off the mark quick like cook, but he is legit as fast as JAC. I’m not joking. I’m sure I posted an article a year back saying he was one of the fastest rugby msyersi k the worlds scores all codes and a sub 11 second 100m runner.
