The use of "consultants" is just league administrators trying to bring their usual corporate rubbish into the sport. If you need to hire consultants it means you don't have much confidence in your staff

This appointment simply wasn’t well thought through. Good luck building culture in footy team via an annual 10 day business trip and an hour or 2 Zoom consult once a fortnight outside of that. How much are we paying him?

In hindsight if it was as fulltime football operations manager or something similar that was hands on, it might of had a chance to implement the cultural change he and the Allblacks are famous for. But this zoom catch up crap is a waste of money.

Trust me I know all about consultant through my own professional work experience, I've dealt with a sorts of different consultants and from my experience then only consultants to actually provide a tangible benefit are specialists consultants that have a specialist skillset that no one within your employ has. Hansen's title is high performance consultant, what does that even entail besides a zoom call here and there

That's rubbish. Hansen is a leader in sport and brings something we don't have.
