Sorry Baa. Sorry Turvey. I am not worthy!......but, you are wrong, wrong! No comebacks, no parallels with 1995, no 1998. Nup. This season is gone. All over.Finished.Completed.The 1995 side had their great players on the paddock. The 2005 side has all their great players out. No Williams, no El Masri, no Patten, no Tonga, no Sherwin, now again no Maitua. Therefore no spark. No try-scoring ability.Winning a Premiership is hard enough as it is with all your stars playing. The current crop are wearing the blue and white, trying hard, but, Quite franklt, are pretty ordinary. Relax. Theres no crisis.Just a bad season with injuries. Thats it. Thats all.You can"t expect to win it every year. Just doesn"t happen that way. The disappointments of this year will serve us well for next year . Go the Dogs!

Seriously, I don't believe we will get there. Our only hope is that the big loss last week has embarrassed them enough for them to fire up.

However if the following team can make the GF, then anything is possible.

Canterbury: 1. Rod Silva, 2. Gavin Lester, 3. Willie Talau, 4. Shane Marteene, 5. Daryl Halligan, 6. Craig Polla-Mounter, 7. Corey Hughes, 13. Travis Norton, 12. Robert Relf, 16. Tony Grimaldi, 11. Steve Price, 9. Jason Hetherington, 8. Darren Britt (c). Interchange: 14. Glen Hughes, 15. Troy Stone, 17. Matthew Ryan, 18. David Thompson.

A handy line up, but certainly not a GF lineup.

the fact is none of our players dont want to play anymore footy this year with the injury toll we have...

But hopefully they will finally wake up and give the tiggers the run for their money on friday

I think that they have run out of enthusiasm. Last year the team was hungry for the title; now they've got it. The run of bad press and huge injury toll has sapped their will to win. The last three games show that the Dogs just want the season to end.

Sure, they could turn around on Friday and beat the Tigers. But, there just isn't the talent to get any further than the first semi-final even if they do make the eight.

It's better that they have an early mark this year, get well rested, and come out hungry in 2006.

Why not try it?

How about Lamb and Turvey gett he boys together and make them watch the 1979, 1985, 1995 GF's then watch the entire 1998 finals run???

Spend a whole day off training bonding over a BBQ say next Tuesday if we beat the Tigers....get some emotion and spirit going in the team again...

Most of all they need to beleive inthemselves and forget what others may think.

We have all these champions at the club and they are not helping at coaching level, why not?Our rookies need all the tips and motivation they can get and all they get is they can still do it.Not by themselves they can, everybody needs to pitch in and sort this out before our next game.

We are only as good or bad as the last couple of results. If we win the next two or three we are back in it - big time.
