There was a distinct difference between Aussie..British..American..NZ..music.. Aussie music was sensational..so too NZ .. Noiseworks to name one.. Now it all sounds the same.. :cry:

This is very true. Now days I have no idea what country a band is from.

and this track is brilliant (tune wise - not keen on subject matter).
Archie Roach has such an amazing voice...Almost went and saw him at the Opera House last year.
Him and Gurrumul are amazing artists.

Man you should come to the next Hot Summer Tour. Last one was in Kiama with Darryl Braithwaite and John Farnham. The next one has Farnsy anyway I was probably one of the youngest blokes there but was one of the best concerts I've been to.

As great as the old music is, the new Australian bands and singers should get praise as well. Bands, Singers and DJs like Tame Impala, Empire of the Sun, Rufus, The Temper Trap and Flume spreading some amazing tunes and songs around the world at the moment.
To be honest I had no idea the Temper Trap were Aussie. I love their song Sweet Disposition.
