well that's what our pathways are for. just look at Penrith they keep losing stars each season due to salary cap constraints and they keep bringing in players from there lower grades to fill in those gaps

Whoever he goes to will have destroyed their cap for the next 5 years. If brown got 1.3, this kid would want the same or a bit more. Can't see us falling into that trap. Apparently he's *only* on $250 at tigs, rising to $350 next year. They are in a very tough spot where they either have to find a few extra mil (not sure how now that luai, api etc are taking up a fair chunk + Bula, S. fainu and a few other young blokes will be looking for upgrades soon), or watch him walk which will send the fans crazy. Best option might be to let him go and focus on Latu, who looks like a gun.
 
Gus is a slimy old ****. Just because he compliments someone doesn't mean he wants to sign them. He could also just be making life difficult for tigpies to re-sign or ensuring that a new club signs him on overs, putting their existing players at risk and unsettling their rosters.
 
One of the few players Gus would pay over a MIL for. Gus literally said he's "obsessed" with watching Galvin play. Gus said Galvin's gonna win comps. If he's of this thinking he'd be mad if he didn't make a play for Galvin. Burton doesn't have the consistency in being any kind of match winner. He's overpaid on "potential". Sexton is average at best.

Imagine Galvin at 6 and Woods at 7 for like 10 years or more

Moving on Sexton and Burton would more than pay for Galvin. We're well under the cap this year so you'd think in future planning also

He's a good young player but I can't see it actually happening. The Tigers will probably re-sign him for double what he's worth. Or Newcastle/Parra will make a desperate attempt to overpay him. I can't see Gus getting into a bidding war for him, especially when Burton/Galvin is an awkward fit with neither of them being a halfback.

But they don’t pay $1.3m to recruit someone from outside.

The big issue for the Tigpies is turning themselves from cellar dwellers to at least competing for the 8. Otherwise it becomes very enticing to jump ship to somewhere that they're in the running for premierships. If they're involved with a better team they're more likely to get picked in rep sides etc. nobody likes that perpetual losing feeling.
 
Spines win comps & Galvin will be decent. I dont think he is a Cleary but he is super fit and hecertainly likes his hands on the ball

Seen heaps of Tiger fans not too worried about all the people saying he’ll return to Parra. Only on TK, where the latest new “star” is wanted simply because they are new on the scene. There’s even people saying they would be fine losing Woods for him fmd.

The way he runs the ball? So running around like a headless chook makes him good? Lol I swear people just see this sort of thing, and in their minds it translates to “that player is goooood”.

He’s clearly a talented kid, but he is getting more hype than is warranted. He might LOOK like he’s doing a lot, but in reality he’s just TRYING a lot. Call me when he is getting a lot of results. Tbh he’s had a few games where he has got good results, try assists etc, but most of the time he tries hard, but doesn’t get the results.

Right now he’s still raw but he obviously has a lot of potential.

16 try assists last year, as a 19 year old!, suggest he does more than just try and run around alot. I don't want him at Dogs, but to suggest he is ineffective is incorrect.
 
Great young player Galvin. After his current contract expires with Wests his asking price will be in the vicinity of Mount Everest.
