Its not a matter of airing dirty washing concerning lack of quality in a certain position.
Its all about trying to improve what your got.
Its the clubs ever ongoing duty to the team and fans to do so.
I have been impressed what Sexton has done this year and excited what he can do later with improvement.
Saying that I dont think Gus would look the other way if Nathan Cleary wanted to sign with us.

Bench: King, Hughes, Tupouniua, Salmon

In my opinion, that's a forward pack that can match it with the best of the best.

Relax Amone, Turpin from Roosters and Todd from NSW Cup will cover the extra forwards.

There’s two that I think would compliment our current pack. Welch and Kobe hetherington. Would probably get both for the price stefano was asking

I wouldn’t say Liam knight will be there next year hopefully they do keep him. I have heard it from him Souths have offered him money I don’t know how much but could get his release he wants to play 1st grade football no more NSW CUP. I can’t tell you that cause he has told me himself
 
Griffin Neame from the Cowboys would be a good recruit for the Dogs and he’s a free agent from 1 November. Would form a great front row with Sam Hughes both only 23 years old and both physically imposing perhaps Dogs wouldn’t get monstered in the middle with those two props.
Let’s hope Phil Gould and Cameron Ciraldo read the articles in the Kennel.

Neame is contracted to Toonsville until the end of 2026.


Team first
 
Leo Thompson (6"1 107kgs) is virtually the same size as Amone (6ft 110kgs). We really need some size to match other packs and RCG would provide that at 6"3 and 117kgs. Yes he seems like a bit of a dick but we need a BIG bopper to bring us up to bigger packs. I don't think we could afford both unfortunately. Welch is a big body too at 6"4 and 110kgs but he's not really the alpha type. Could work though. I just hope we get someone. Can't see us top 4 next year without another decent prop besides Amone and that's IF he works out. Likely we're getting SST also. Hope he's not a cripple and we're paying him f.. all. Should consider him as a Tetevano replacement likely to play NSW Cup when not injured

Being free to negotiate with other clubs isn't the same as being a free agent.

From last night it looks like he might be getting into acting. Had the Mickey Rourke look happening :p
 
Looks like RCG is available now Broncos have pulled out and he is staying in Sydney. We should get him on a cheap buy as not many options left for him.
 
RCG has a better resume than Thompson.
850k on a 2/3 year deal and by the end of the contract our kids will be ready.
900k if he shaves the moustache
