You can't, and have quality across the rest of the top 30. We can take some comfort in the fact they have spent a quarter or more of their cap on 3 forwards . . . Good luck with your spine Des

Campbell, Brimson, Foran and Verrills not the worst spine going around. Randall was Kenny/Cotter like this year. Their roster is stacked.

That's a pretty average spine.. Plus Foran, Brimson and Verrills are injury prone and always miss a tonne of games.

I've always loved Fotuaika but I'd much rather sign Keaon as I think he's as good if not better now and has way more upside. Problem is there's every chance we don't get him either and there are less and less quality forwards are available by the week..

Of players spending most of their time in NSW Cup Nafahu Whyte from the Roosters who was playing well in NSW Cup - he and Wong were standouts early in the year - imho, would be worth pursuing - will be behind Collins, May, JWH Leniu.

Doesn't address the need for an alpha middle - but just having middles that can compete and match would be a big step forward - Saifiti is probably the closest of the possible signings.
Didn't someone say Terrell May still doesnt have a contract for 24 yet or did I dream that one

sadly we might have to develop our own props since there's no one good available on the market
Surprised Vaughan wasn't offered a contract to stay. In hindsight tpj money would have been handy. Plenty of clubs will be shedding players in the next 12 to 18 months. We will be fine but the short term will be hard without experience up front.

It's concerning when our best middle options are King and Knight. They'd be helpful in a chess game though . . . I bet we'll see the King, Knight, chess thing at least 50 times in the offseason :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

You can’t get your head around it ???

It’s blatantly obvious … you can’t just pluck players out of thin air !!

There are no elite props on the market, those that may have been available were offered an upgrade and decided to stay with their original clubs ..

What elite halfbacks are available ? …… you keep blaming Gould for not signing one, but you never answered the question …. Who’s available for him to sign … who do you suggest he goes after ??

Gus has bought one of the most talented athletes in the league in Crichton who they feel could be an elite FB, plus they’ve signed Taaffe as well who was the best on the market & just won MOM in a cup football winning premiership side ..

You can’t just go offer players way overs because you unbalance the cap and team, and if they flop or go lazy on the money like TPJ they can take years to move on .. it’s a balancing act ..

But you know all this it just doesn’t make for good trolling !!

Gus knows what he’s doing, you have no idea …. stick to what you know Fizbo, making snow cones ..
There have been plenty of players on the market we have missed out on. If you have pulling power and stroke, you do what needs to be done to entice them away from their clubs. Fair enough if Payne Haas wants to stay at the broncs, but when you have elite forwards opting to stay at loser clubs like the titans rather than come to us, that is just embarrassing.

Awww but the pwayer mawket!!!

has it ever occurred to you that maybe some players don't want to relocate and are happy to stay at the club they're at?
