Foran to Bulldogs hits a roadblock

THE BULLDOGS’ bid to sign Kieran Foran has hit a massive roadblock.

Des Hasler is desperate to get Foran on board, believing his current halves Moses Mbye and Josh Reynolds just don’t have the attacking class to win big games.

But Hasler is managed by George Mimis – the high-profile manager who Foran recently dumped in favour of his godfather.

Hasler and Mimis are close and Dessie has declared he won’t do any deal with Foran unless Mimis is involved.

That isn’t likely to sit well with the troubled former Eel, who is refusing to deal with Mimis.

The stalemate could cost the Bulldogs Foran’s signature for next season, with the Warriors pushing hard to get the 26-year-old across the Tasman.

Surely if true and we lose his signature all because of this than that would and should be another nail in Des's coffin. We badly need something because quite simply we suck in our gameplan.

Another speculation based article from those who wouldn't in reality be in the loop. Anyone for a spare grain of salt?

Why can't our halves just watch a JT DVD and do what he does?
You can't just buy everybody, a great coach turns players into great people as well as great players.
Mbye wanted to be like JT, today is his day, nothing to lose.
I doubt we will get Foran, he doesn't like Sydney.

I don't understand the logic here?

What does who Des is managed by have to do with anything?

The club's reps would be the one who deal with Forans manager not Des.

Also Foran's uncle has already stated he is not his manager and can't negotiate etc with clubs. So that's not right.

Lastly if for some bizarre unknown that Des can actually dictate to what manager we do and don't deal with then we are in a worse state then I feared.

If we miss Foran for 2017 then this club is a fucking joke. All we have done is lost quality players over the past few seasons from Finucane, Ennis, Taupau, Pritchard, Hodkinson, Barba etc. Some of them are not our fault though the fact most bar Finucane & Taupau would of been on pretty good coin along with blokes like Williams, Perrett, Rona etc this year and we have added a bloke who won't play finals footy...

WHAT THE FUCK...

Sign Foran and focus on a new game plan finally or fuck off to the board, Raelene, Des whoever.

Over Des and over Foran. Need a new direction and someone who can pick out talent and not someone who goes after the same player after being knocked back two times (and he's on the way to being knocked back a third time by Foran).

What coachin their right mind would avoid players from a certain manager? That would unnecessarily restrict your club in terms of recruitment. Pretty sure no board would approve that. But before this season I didn't think a NRL player would have a clause to skip Sunday games approved either.
