Yep Thought the charge would be more serious like GBH considering the refs jaw got broken and he lost 3 teeth. Probably get a fine and some community service knowing our piss weak system.

NSW Police arrested Greenacre player and amateur boxer Adam Abdallah, 25, on Sunday afternoon. He is expected to be charged with assault.

Abdallah was seen walking into the police station about 3pm, along with high profile barrister Talal Krayem, who is legally representing him.

Greenacre Eagles condemned the violence and released a statement saying it had chosen to withdraw its team from the first-grade competition.
