Make them go hard for their new play thing, while we quietly sign Chief Suali from under them.Let the roosters have him, defensive liability anyways
I've been of the opinion that if one team can offer say $500,000 for a player, another team shouldn't even be able to make an offer unless it's within 1-2% of the same value under the cap. So if a club struggling for talent has a half million for Young, the roosters who clearly aren't would have to offer at least $490,000 and not this bullshit of $400,000 cos they love playing golf with uncle Nick.So apparently Dominic Young is in the sights of the roosters. How the fuk can the roosters afford to sign him with their star studded backline? This guy on the open market will command 500-500k. Seriously and we are meant to have asalary cap. the roosters will probably sign him for 350K . this is why the NRL needs to assign a market value on each player to stop teams like the roosters always signing the best players for way under the salary cap. the NRL are pathetic allowing the roosters and teams like the storm paying players way under their market value.
and Baz isn't getting the sack and we're also not negotiating with Ciraldo.Gus said that we are not negotiating with anybody ATM.
“Just for information of Bulldogs fans — despite constant media speculation, Bulldogs do not have any pending offers out for players on market to join club in 2023 or 2024,” Gould tweeted.and Baz isn't getting the sack and we're also not negotiating with Ciraldo.
i like your suggestion....why the NRL never look into initiatives like this to regulate the salary cap more effectively i will never understandI've been of the opinion that if one team can offer say $500,000 for a player, another team shouldn't even be able to make an offer unless it's within 1-2% of the same value under the cap. Unless such rules get bought in the salary cap won't ever be more than a joke.
if you believe what Gould says then you are very gullible...this is all about keeping the media at bay.....as of he is not after a quality prop for 2024 and potentially a halfback“Just for information of Bulldogs fans — despite constant media speculation, Bulldogs do not have any pending offers out for players on market to join club in 2023 or 2024,” Gould tweeted.
“No offers. We'd like to let things settle for a while and see how our youngsters perform. Thank you.”
Other teams relax while Gus strikes under the radar againand Baz isn't getting the sack and we're also not negotiating with Ciraldo.
