Roosters will look after Tupou post career for sure. Think he’s played there his whole career, won comps, played rep footy etc. he’s a roosters legend. They’ll look after him. You are correct
Bulldogs junior from Berala Bears, played U20 with Eels for a couple of years & then Roosters.

Roosters also signed Wakefield winger Lewis Murphy. He and Young could possibly be their new wingers.

Newcastle’s English winger Dominic Young is in talks with the Canterbury Bulldogs as Phil Gould continues his multimillion-dollar buying spree.

News Corp can reveal the 21-year-old winger toured the Bulldogs’ Belmore headquarters on Friday afternoon with Gould and coach Cameron Ciraldo.

Rated among the top half dozen wingers in the game, Young is off contract at the Knights at the end of this season.

He has also had talks with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, who have out their assistant coach and fellow Englishman Sam Burgess on the case.

Ciraldo is pleased with his talent in the Bulldogs’ outside backs but is always looking to strengthen the team. Gould has a huge opinion of the youngster from West Yorkshire.

Young scored 14 tries in 20 games for Newcastle this year.

He also scored nine tries in five games at the World Cup.

News Corp understands Young is keen to move to Sydney but the Knights are fighting desperately hard to sign him on a long-term deal.

They have two other English players arriving next year - Will Pryce and Kai Pearce-Paul who will add plenty of strike power at a club that struggled last year – and probably help their chances of keeping Young.
Can he play half?

still very raw, nowhere near the finished product. I personally think he's a little overrated right now, but he is a solid player overall with potential to be quality. Rooster best spot for him career wise and reaching his potential. He'd go to Rooster for less than Knight and other clubs offers.

Papenhauzen for storm

Have a look at the roosters backline...i mean seriously how the hell can all those players be included in the salary cap? Yet people on the kennel whinge when we try and sign a quality player like Young saying we dont need him. i think we do need him. All i know is that the roosters akways get who they want and because the inept NRL wont put a minimum value on players teams like the roosters sign quality players for unders...what a joke and the NRL want an even comp
