Looked good in his limited minutes against parra, could be a decent cheap back up for Mahoney next year

Can play as a number 9 or a 7 and to be honest may even do a better job at 7 then our current incumbent. Perfect number 14 for us for next season.

Adapted to first grade pretty quick, nothing wrong with having a crisp dummy half from the bench.
Folkes used two hookers thank you Perry
Folkesy god rest his soul did use two hookers and it worked well. But the interchange was 12 back then . To play 2 hookers now without screwing up your interchange you need one of them to be able to slot into another role non injury related during the game. A Brandon Smith or McInnes type who can play back row .

We need to find a better bench utility

Yep deserves some more game time to see if he is a back up FG option or utility haven't seen much of his game but he looks alright so far..looks like he has some grunt, which is one of the things Dietz lacked.
For another year his age isn't an issue, his playing level is the determining factor.

He has to stay at the club. Brilliant back up option and utility value. Swift from dummy half and looks as if he has a decent game IQ. Injuries can destroy a season, can’t rely on Mahoney for 24 games you never know.

Blokes going good but given JMK is on the move next season and BBO was our rookie of the year last season and everyone is playing better post Barrett maybe he should get another go at 14.

ZDC was a junior with some raps on him back then. No wonder he's taking his opportunity with both hands. It's been a long road but he's finally got to play in NRL and is obviously loving it. He has been a really good injection of energy in the last 2 games. I wish they'd use him more.
