Lachie Lewis has been ruled out after a nasty head knock last week. Brandon Wakeham has been promoted to the starting side and Jack Cogger will come into the halves for Jake Averillo who has been ruled out.

Jake has had a rough run with injury this year.
He’s young and we have improved conditioning staff for 2021. Hopefully his body strengthens and adjusts to the rigours of NRL better next year.

This is a big game for Wakeham, with Lewis (thank god he isn't playing) and Averillo out, he becomes the main man, if he can direct us around the park and set up a few tries it'll give him a lot of confidence going into pre season and really staking a claim to being in the side for next season.

Cogger & Wakeham have only played 2 games together, both last season in rounds 17 & 18. We won the first game against the Knights and then got flogged in the second by the Broncos.

Panthers will flog us, we're heavily depleted and a lot of the players will be flat after playing our gf last weekend and might even switch off completely at this stage. I hope I'm wrong but I'm sure most the players just want this season to finally be over so they can put it behind them.

I wouldn’t be expecting too much from Wakeham or Cogger today they wouldn’t have had much time to form a combination at training plus I think our pack will get totally dominated.

All we can do is the same game plan as last week, back each other up in defense and hold on to try and send Tolman and the departures out on a positive note.
Weve been reasonably competitive in recent weeks so why not have a crack and see if we can pip them.
