UAE has no formal extradition treaty with the US. Plenty of instances of US citizens being extradited though. Just a few hoops to jump through. And you would think drugged minority sex would be a winner with a conservative arab state.

I don’t understand this world where people are considered guilty without evidence. A quick look at the details makes this look like a cash grab. JayZ name added to civil suit after it was filed. The lawyer warned that he would go public if JayZ doesnt pay and the lawyer has a reputation as being super sketchy. Anytime a serious crime is dealt with civilly as opposed to criminally it always looks like a cash grab IMO.

if anyone i love is sexually assaulted as a 13 year old - if i dont kill the fella first, there is no amount of money that could stop me from seeking justice. Going the civil route instead of through the criminal system says alot about this case IMO.

I agree when it happened the victim probably felt there was nothing they could do it was their fault and no one will believe them and nothing will happen anyway. Now it’s all coming out apart from the long term trauma they are probably thinking. Fuck those pricks I’m going to get something out of this. Why shouldn’t I.

She can still get justice now but choose to sue instead. No statute of limitations in rape cases. Im not saying it is legit or bullshit but choosing to sue as opposed to prosecute doesnt make me think that he is for certain guilty. I dont understand how people can be so sure of something without seeing any evidence at all
