Here is the answer from Nasser Hussain as to why we need, ‘Umpires Call’. Until I heard this I thought if it hits the stumps it should be out..but now I understand why you need ‘Umpire’s Call’.

still prefer if its hitting the stumps that it should be out regardless of umpires call, but I can see where they're coming from with Hussain's explanation

Yeah NZ have 60m boundaries and Inglis still couldn’t get it over the boundary, cost us the match

I loved the old triangular series.

Who remembers Michael Bevan steering the team from the cusp of defeat ? That guy was special.
I absolutely hated cricket as a kid, it was on all summer holidays and fkn booooring!
I spent a few summers with my mate at Tathra with his nan & pop.
She was 78 and the only thing she loved more than her "stories" (soap operas) was cricket.
So I'm forced to watch this rubbish at night and I witness that Bevan moment and at that exact time I loved cricket and have ever since.
