I dare say another record might go NZ might get one of lowest Team Test scores.. went past their lowest 26 but the second lowest 42 might be in sight..or 54 their third lowest..they are currently getting mowed down 6/38

That's a very disappointing effort. Their batters couldn't back up Patel's bowling efforts. Incidentally, I see Patel was the not out batsman too.

You definitely don't see that every day.

Just a little trivia on Patel’s brilliant effort.. He is the first cricketer to get all 10 wickets in the first innings of a match.. He is the first cricketer to take 10 wickets in an innings playing away from home.. Incidentally though he was born in Mumbai where the Test is held..he moved to NZ when he was seven..which means he is the first to achieve his feat in the town of his birth..mind boggling!
One more thing ..he knocks off Richard Hadlee who had the previous best test bowling figures for NZ 9/52 against Australia at the Gabba in 1985.

Woeful capitulation.. Your technique sure gets tested on the subcontinent.. Admittedly they got some great deliveries but they are supposed to be the number one Test nation..62 is not acceptable..

Keeping in mind the heroics of NZ Ajaz Patel against India.. Take a little look at the following bit I highlighted about the first guy who took 10 wickets in an inning…Jim Laker, an English cricketer..not only did he take 10 wickets in one inning, he took 19 wickets in the whole match..a feat nor equaled or passed, and I dare say probably never will be

‘Jim Laker made a mark on the history of Test cricket when he took 19 wickets for 90 runs against Australiawith an average of 4.73 and an economy of 1.32. With that, Laker became the first bowler in Test cricket to pick up 10 wickets in an innings. The match was played at the Old Trafford, Manchester in July 1956.

Winning the toss, England batted first and scored 459 in the first innings thanks to centuries from Peter Richardson and David Sheppard at the top of the order. Jim laker, then, ran through Australia’s first inningspicking up 9 wickets for just 37 runs in 16.4 overs. Jim Burke was the only wicket that went to Tony Lock. The remaining were captured by Laker. Australia were made to follow on, and this time, Laker did not leave a single wicket for anyone else, picking up all 10 wickets for 53 runs in 51.2 overs. England won the match by innings and 170 runs.’

Not sure what the weather looks like in Mumbai for the next 2 days, but you would have to think this one's in the bag..

Close game in the BBL opener

Sixers 4/213(their record highest score)
Stars(imposters)all out for 61 and that was after a mini rally from 9/47 and O'Keefe being on a hat trick.

LOL

Yeh he could have done so even right after O'Keefe's over. Dominant win that game was all over well before the Sixers had even finished batting.

Poor batting display, but Sixers a great all round team.

Curran got a free wicket. Crazy.
