I suppose, to me it sounds like bribery. Here’s $100 but only if u get the vaccine. Has this sort out of thing ever been done before, with regards to health etc. Maybe it has..

Yep. It's bribery. Which is not a bad thing if it encourages people to get the vaccine. US states have been doing it with beer and food vouchers.

The recent report on vaccine hesitancy in Australia suggested doing an automatic government funded lottery for everyone vaccinated in Australia. I'm not so sure that would work too well. But throwing $100 at everyone to get them vaccinated could work. You would need to give it to everyone vaccinated though otherwise it would piss off all the people who are already vaccinated.

They're also saying that a guy attempted to attend the protests and police gave the guy an infringement notice. The next day the guy tested positive. They're trying to find out if the guy still went to the protests or if he just went home after that.
