When I read the line about the slowness in which they declared a pandemic well that would make sense that people would be asking questions. I had the same thought myself when numbers of infections and places affected climbed and they still hedged their bets. It would be pretty much like asking a Sutton to make a negative statement on another Sutton...

Ran into this article today, I don't know how correct it is, some of the links it is drawing seem tenuous. However the situation with the Ruby Princess smells of something political, and the final paragraph is probably fairly correct when it says "People have quite literally died because of this debacle. And yet, still, all we largely get is political games."
Wouldn't surprise me if it were true.
