so if you are on 100ks/ year in your current workplace, working there for last 7 years , working your arse off and being the employee of the year every single year . So basically you have earned every single penny you were paid.

Now you are telling me that another company offers you 200ks for doing the same job and offer you same conditions and you will not leave your current employer just because you do not "worship" money.

if all I had to think about was 'me' then Fuck yeah I'd go chase the money but when others are relying on me to stay in the area AND I have a contract then no I wouldn't go.

For example I live in Sydney not because I love paying triple the mortgage for the same house outside Sydney but because my family are here , my kids don't want to leave their friends ,schools and lifestyle.

After I got retrenched from Qantas, I got a job offer for 10 grand a year more at IBM in Cumberland forest which meant I'd have to disrupt my family so I didn't take it.

When I had small babies I got offered a 12 month contract working on a specialised (now obsolete) programming automation language in Melbourne for $75 an hour, this was more than 10 years ago but I knocked it back because I had a commitment to my family so Fuck no.. I don't worship money over commitment

Klemmer has a contract with the bulldogs and whether he likes to acknowledge or not it's with the fans too. As far as I'm concerned it's a selfish act from him unless of course there was something serious going down at the club that we don't know about

Dont have that much faith in our current middle players minus klemmer. Dont think we have enough quality out wide, in spine or in our coaching group to play a less conventional footy either.

I get a feeling our board are trying to run things like in the 1980s, not like a modern club should be run, and that's causing a lot of these issues.

Imagine if Cronk came out and asked the Roosters for a release... or if Smith asked Storm for a release. They'd get told they've still got a contract.

Yet at our club a player mentions they aren't happy and suddenly the boards trying to find another club for them.

Like when the Storm released Cronk and he goes onto to play a major role in beating them in a GF? It happens everywhere!

For Klemmer its the same and extra 500ks would make a world of difference to his family and his future. He can send his kids to most expensive private school in the country with those extra 500ks/ year.

I probably wouldnt want to go over $600k for AFB but who knows what games Des will play for him.

The more I think about it the club may have knew this was coming when they got CHN then they can move Jacko to lock and play Fualalo or Elliott at front row. To'omaga could solve a lot of problems but I think he might be a while off being a dominant front rower.

Yh Jackson is surely starting at lock for us next season with CHN taking his place on the right edge. Don't even want to see Elliott at prop again, way to ineffective and only really works as a 3rd middle forward when others are providing the go forward.

If anybody remembers at the beginning of the year Klemmer was playing like a busted ass as he thought he was holidaying in Bali with his love Woods.
The Kennel went ape shit when he was dropped to the bench and Klemmer picked up his game and attitude when it was said that he was not going to play Origin.
