Ray Hadley has named and shamed the internet troll responsible for publishing recent NRL sex tapes.

The NRL Memes Facebook page has recently posted a steady stream of videos featuring Bulldogs player Dylan Napa, Panthers player Tyrone May and several other players.

On Tuesday, Panthers star Tyrone May was charged by police and stood down by the NRL as the videos were allegedly recorded and distributed without the consent of two women involved.

NRL Memes posted the video, incorrectly identifying one of the women as Montana Geyer, the daughter of Rugby League great Mark Geyer.

Geyer contacted the page, making it very clear that it was not his daughter, but received a petulant response from the administrator… “Well it looks like her.”

NRL Memes has now been removed from Facebook and the Geyer family are taking legal action against the page’s administrator.

Ray Hadley has now decided to name that administrator as Fouad Ghosn and delivered an almighty spray over his actions.

He’s labelled the 23-year-old’s actions as reprehensible and commended the Geyer family for taking a stand.

“The Geyer family’s decided, there’s the line in the sand, it’s not going to be crossed anymore.”

It’s not the first time the Ghosn has unfairly and disgracefully attacked women in the Rugby League world.

Ray Hadley has been contacted by several young women who write and report on the NRL, claiming they’ve been subjected to the most vile abuse on the NRL Memes page for some time.

Their images have been posted alongside accusations they are only employed because they have sex with their bosses, prominent players or officials.

Ray has had enough.

“Some of the things that have been said about these young women in Rugby League… and I’ll stand up for all of them, I know quite a number of them, they’re outstanding young people.

“And I would say to all of those other people running these various sites who make these accusations. You’re on notice now.

“I don’t sue people in the media but I’ll sue you bastards. You make accusations about me or anyone connected with me, I’ll sue you.

“I’ll use whatever resources available to me because someone needs to take a stand, like the Geyer family has today, and hold you people to account.”

I will admit that I am not the greatest fan of Ray Hadley but I will on this occasion stand and applaud him for his comments and stance. I agree with his comment that the NRL should be very unhappy that their name was associated with that page if only as an indicator that the memes were in relation to NRL.

I have seen quite a few posts on that particular Facebook page and they were always pretty much in really bad taste. Yeah some memes on other sites are quite humurous but they do not stoop to the low levels of that particular site. That is my opinion and others may see different, that is their right.

I'd actually pay to see Ray Hadley in court and being told to STFU by a judge. Can't stand the prick.

Why didn't Hadley stand up to these 'bastards' before Geyer if he knew about the slander on these shitty sites already?

Every one knows geyer is no saint, but bagging the bloke because he wants to protect his daughter from this crap is just ridiculous
Grow up
Where did I bag him.

Just saying he is sort of hypercritical, from when he was a younger.

Also, his daughter should be the one taking legal action, not the father.

named by ex-teammates as a potential leaker
Shit, he must be popular with the ex team-mates.

Wonder who they will point the finger at now.

Maybe Corey Harawira Naera can sue his ex team-mates for defamation. hehe

A second woman is considering legal action against the controversial NRL Memes Facebook page.

On Monday, Penrith great Mark Geyer announced his daughter Montanna would be suing the page's creator for defamation, after it posted a screengrab from an alleged sex tape featuring Panthers playmaker Tyrone May captioned: "The bird in the Tyrone May video is Mark Geyer's daughter. Happy days at Penrith."

The woman in the video was not Ms Geyer, whose lawyers on Thursday started defamation proceedings by serving legal documents on the Sydney man widely believed to be behind the page.

Since news that the Geyer family would pursue legal action against the Facebook page's administrator broke, a friend of another woman who had "previously been the subject of comment on that page" contacted Brydens on Thursday. The woman is considering her own legal options and what action can be taken against the Facebook page, Mr Hagipantelis told the Herald.

Nobody was home when the firm served documents instigating legal proceedings against the man widely thought to control the controversial page.

Facebook page has also been removed," Mr Hagipantelis said.

The page was removed by the social media giant for violating its "community standards" guidelines.

The law firm has yet to receive a response to the papers, he said.

"Chances are he'll go underground. [But] further action will be taken, and we will pursue him through the courts. My instructions are to prosecute him under defamation proceedings."

The 300,000 fan strong Facebook page has been in the spotlight since it published sex tapes of former Sydney Roosters player Dylan Napa as he began his career at rival NRL club the Canterbury Bulldogs.

Earlier this week, Penrith boss Phil Gould warned the distribution of explicit videos among NRL players is "extremely widespread".

Mr May, 22, was charged under new revenge porn legislation with two counts of allegedly filming and two counts of disseminating sexual acts with two women without their knowledge and consent. He denies the charges.

While the sexual acts were consensual, police said neither of the women knew they were being filmed and May then allegedly distributed the recordings without their consent.

Mr May handed himself into police at Penrith this week, but refused an interview with detectives.

He will appear before Penrith Local Court in May.
