What the actual..

29 yo arrested for raping a 76 women in her nursing home, he broken in assaulted her and ran off after she called for help. Thanks to her reported they busted him.

A 80 year women bashed along with her two daughters in the emergency department at Bankstown hospital by a patient, she’s fighting for life now. He smashed her head into a wall.

On par with kiddy porn and animal cruelty.
Just before Xmas there was a 22 yo who broke into a house and killed the family's 2 dogs who barked at him.
The family were at a friend's house and came home to that.

Assaulting the vulnerable is the lowest of the lows, no doubt they will get full protection if they even end up in prison.

Breaking into someone’s home and then killing their pets.. he could have just left, that’s messed up.

A 50-year-old transgender woman has sparked backlash among parents after she competed in a swim meet against teenage girls in Canada.

Furious parents claim Melody Wiseheart shared a locker room with their young daughters during the Trojan Cup in Barrie, Ontario, which took place between December 1-3 and featured age groups from eight and younger to 16 and older.

Wiseheart, a professor at York university, attended the competition at the East Bayfield Community Centre and participated in several events, including the women’s 1500m freestyle for athletes 16 and older, where she placed second.

The parent of one of the children who participated in the meet told the Toronto Sun 'the girls were terrified.'

They claimed parents used towels to setup a makeshift tent to protect the girls that had to change in front of Wiseheart.

I always get concerned when this kind of thing is posted only in far right wing tabloid news sources (Toronto Sun, Daily Mail, Rebel News). Tried to look a little deeper into it to see if it were true, and check all the details.

Looks like there may be more to the story, but it's only being told by heavily biased news sources. All I could find beyond this story was that the person is a professor of psychology who specialises in child psychology.

Someone also posted a bunch of stuff about the swim that showed that Wiseheart wasn't the only adult in the swims because it was open.

At that stage I asked myself why I'm wasting my Sunday morning caring about this. So I'm going to cook breakfast and finish Lies of P.

Sources aside - It shouldn’t be acceptable that an adult, let alone an adult male regardless of what gender he thinks he is, should be swimming with children.

If he is a child psychologist he should know what potential impact that’s having on them and that’s even worse.

There is zero justification for this no matter what people think, it’s no different to male boxers fighting women.

Normally I would agree. But as I said, she wasn't the only adult swimming with children. That was left out of the story.

It was apparently an open swim meet with several adults and children.

Still shouldn't have a biological male competing against biological females, but at a basic swim meet, who cares? If it's top level then it shouldn't be allowed, and generally isn't now days. But at a low level the decision comes down to the ones hosting the meet.
