I was going insane at the continual gloating of the Parra team tonight by the Ch 9 commentators. As far as I can tell, none of the commentators have any affiliation with Parra (there was no Sterlo) so I can’t understand the sheer one-sidedness of their call. Dead-set, it was like they were watching a porno and anyone in Blue & Gold made them hot under the collar. The jewel in the crown was when Gould, a guy whose made light of the strip rule all year, said that he “enjoyed the gamesmanship” of what Parra did, which was clearly a strip which led to their 2nd last try.

Daley last week was bad enough. This week was worse, and what’s worse again, was that there was no Ben “Believe you me, I played for Brisbane once you know” Ikin involved.

What about when Gould claims players know every little thing they are doing

Example

Inu knew to skim his right foot on the surface cause he left form the outside. FKN PLEASE, he dived in to ground the ball and his right foot hit the ground

Gus must've put some money on the Eels. He started to jump back on our bandwagon when it looked like we were storming home, but quickly jumped back on the Eels again. He was really annoying, and yes the 'I enjoyed that' call made me ****en sick! If it happened when he was at the Roosters, he would be filthy!

as much as alot of bulldog fans bag hadley i would rather listen to his call then rabs and gould any day, rabs has no idea and calls millard reni and vice versa, just because they are both dark and gould has that many personal agendas you can't tell what he is up tp.

please...
parra played well, they deserve praise from the commentators
just like we get praise when our players play well

tonight we played poorly and the eells played well.

in the rare instances where one of our players did do something well the commentators did applaude it.

i dont know what else you would expect to hear when one team outplays the other?

i expect that the so called best caller in the game gets the names of known players correct.

FMD tell me about it! that was PURE luck that Inu got his foot back in play before grounding the ball!

NO gould, his thought process was not "gota get my foot back into play before i ground the ball" absolute nob gould

its well known Ray Warren is a Parra fan. If hes ever on with Stirling for a Parra game, the 'commentary' gets a bit silly.
