Opinion Can we avoid the spoon?

We've had a tough draw and challenged the Eels, Roosters and Rabbits (top 8 teams) albeit a historic defeat against Manly with BIG outs. We play the tigers twice, Sharks (next week) - we already beat them, Titans (we came close), warriors, knights, manly (another thrashing).

We've improved a lot against the top sides and I expect 3-4 wins to round out the season.

Spoon is ours. Even on our best day, we just don't have the discipline to be clinical enough to close out games, even when the opposition are not at their best. We just have too many dumb players in the squad like Waddell, Katoa, Hetherington, Elliot and Crapa.

99% ours. We do everything possible to ourselves to lose a winnable game (today) and in the other weeks we get smashed. We don't know how to win anymore and that's even with the opposition putting it on a platter for us.

Panthers, Cowboys, Newcastle, Roosters, Warriors, Sharks, Newcastle.

Given that we are effectively behind by 6 points due to inferior points differential, id say we will probably get it even if we somehow win 3-4 of our games... I see Broncos beating the Cowboys and Newcastle once and that would likely be enough to ward us off

I think we are a chance to avoid the spoon. We also get JMK back next week, whilst no superstar, he is far better than Katoa. Gotta still have BBO on the bench too.

We avoided the spoon the last few years because we won a few tight games... We are not winning anything this year with the 6 again rule.

Plus fcuk the spoon, Im happy to see us building PROPER foundations knowing we got some talent coming... We will be smokies next year and watching a 19 yr old assist another 20 yr old for a try which was converted from the sideline by a 21 yr old you just know the future is good.
