Cameron Smith set to become all time points record holder!

Was reading last night that Smith is set to overhaul Hazem next season. Sitting just 36 points behind, it would take a season ending injury early on for Smith fail in his chase of the record.

A real shame to see an absolute twat of a player like Smith get a record he doesn’t really deserve.

El Masri didn't start kicking fulltime until he was 27... Smith started when he was like 23/24 - plus El Masri had and will always have a higher strike rate and be a more accurate kicker.

Compare the two....also look at their finals series records and total team points scored over their careers; Melbourne 4 consecutive grand final appearances 2006-09; 2012 2017 & 2019 Grand final appearances. Apart from 2002 and 2010 ( when they got caught cheating the cap and finished last) they have always played finals footy with sixth place their lowest ranking to end a season.


Smith Career ( so far) 17 years ; 384 games 43 tries ; 1105 goals; 4 field goals. 2386 total

Hazem El Masri career 14 years ;317 games 159 tries 891 goals. 2418 total

Taken Smith a lot longer to get to where he is
