We were not certain of getting a try. It looked promising, but it wasn't certain. Ryan would have jammed up from the back, as well as Tuqiri. They could well have shut the play down. It's because those players were out of screen that you think it was a deadset try.

Would you be willing to put your money on the Bulldogs finishing off even the easiest of line breaks? Get real son.
um well Morris passed to Goodwin and he was going to score.

Forward pass or not, I guarantee that the final pass would have been dropped before the line. It was not definite that a try would have been scored. Not with our pathetic lineup anyway.

was NOT forward...but still we should never have been in a position to lose...
we cant rely on refs calls getting us wins, we need 80 minute intensity not the
crap we are dishing out at the moment...Maybe the correct call would have helped us, maybe not

Dont blame the Ref for last nights loss

Everyone who is blaming the ref for last nights loss needs to wake up. Yes he made a bad call on the forward pass last night but that didnt cost us the game it was our performance that cost us the game.

The ref didnt make us drop the ball
The ref didnt make us take stupid 5th tackle options
The ref didnt make Kimmorley throw an intercept to Fifita
The ref didnt make Ennis kick on the 3rd tackle
The ref didnt make us miss tackles
The ref didnt make us play with no urgency

For example: We put a kick in goal and we had two defenders there and Mitch Brown was still able to get back into the field of play and on top of that Andrew Ryan gave away a stupid penalty trying to tackle Brown into touch.

A Coach blames a ref when he wants to take the attention away from the players and their performances its the oldest trick in the book.

Who blamed the ref? Whoever blamed the ref has not watched a game this season.

Yeah, Moore did that obviously to take attention off his players but obviously that wasn't working.

Supposedly he gave them a spray at fulltime though. Most vocal he has ever been as a coach thus far.

If you think that calls like that don't change momentum then you are seriously misguided.

Sure we made some poor decisions, but that forward pass call came at a very crucial time.

Agree. If that try is allowed we win the game.

That being said from a season of poor results the team is to blame. From Management to Players.

We are coming out second best on every aspect of play where it matters.

It pains me to say it but we are currently the worst team in the comp. The Sharkies will be looking forward to playing us.

On a night like last night, every point is crucial. A try is worth 3 in those conditions.
