There’s only so much you can do with Burton / Flannagan skill set.

I wish we didn’t pull out from the Mitchell Moses bid.

We are playing a top 4 side from last year. We have a new hooker and fullback. We need to be patient and give this side some time to gel. Chopping and changing this early is stupid

Have to agree. First 10 mins looked good in first half. Now just looks similar to last year after that short burst. Had higher hopes for Perham as he does have great speed an footwork!! So much potential again an no showing it often.

Burton is not a game manager he is a ball runner with a decent long kicking game. He is forced to be something he isn’t and is an easy target for the defence cause Flanagan doesn’t put the defence in two minds when he has the ball as he can’t create. Flanagans job is to take the pressure off him and create space and time for him, something he fails dismally at.

Sadly though Avo looks the most natural out of any of our backs when it comes to attack with the exception of Addo-Carr

I think he’s played well except for the put down.

Sharks are a top 4 team, we are a bottom 4 team looking to get back into finals.

He looked slower than normal but Kennedy saved that try hand all over it, plenty of fullbacks save tries like that. Averillo imo attack wise has been the liveliest in our team and defensively very good. Our halfback is a massive problem
