Good first half using players you would expect to see straight away , second half used players to give them experience. Nice to see players getting a run , doesn't Matter what the result was it's a trial game

Yes up until 20 minutes to go..so no not really as all the carnage happened in that last 20.

Why is there no pride in winning the match even though it's just a trial? Would set the season up for both the players and the dopey fans like me
our makeshift/ISP second half team lost with an 8-0 against them/ a man in the bin and a knock on try to seal... you really find this concerning? what matters is that when the teams were lined up evenly as far as first graders go, we were all over them and we were scoring almost at will

Lots of good performers in this trial. Was impressed with Napa, Crichton, Meaney and Cogger.
If Lichaa doesnt perform, and I think he will, Cogger could slot in nicely. Meaney offers a lot in the long term. He is quick, can defend
and returns the ball very well.
Not so sure about his D, why did Pay have him defending on the wing?

Whilst Hoppa has the finess Meaney posses that speed, footwork and agility that Hoppa could only dream of. Kid nearly made a good break yesterday. Plenty of upside to both of them ATM
Meany didn't get an opportunity to show how he can contribute to a back line move like the ones we got out tyes

Meaney is still too weak... he got brushed off a few times when the winger crossed over the line.
Still we didn't have many attacking sets in the second half to see what Meaney could do in the oppositions 20m zone..

I just watched the first half again and considered that’s the first hit out it was pretty impressive how clinical we ran some of those attacking plays. It looks like they have been working really hard over the off season and the best thing is it’s only going to get better as they get more game time. Unfortunately we have a massive problem with backline depth and it could bite us.

Cotric will do that to the majority of defenders....

Good to see them throwing the ball around a bit and putting the points up.

Look people its a trial match. When you have a reserve grade side against a first grade the result was bound to happen.

Fair call. Meaney didn’t have the players around him that hoppa had in the first half. In saying that, Hoppa has always been a class player though.
