I wouldnt break the bank/budget to keep tbh. I really like the bloke and respect him but way too slow and quiet for a hb.

Those staunch and loud hokko supporters have vanished into thin air.

I'm happy for him to play half but he has no variety in his game. Look at A Reynolds. Zero variety but his kicking game is outstanding. Hokko can kick field goals i guess.

He was playing busted through the finals.

Regardless, in the long term I'd be disappointed if the club viewed him as the answer to our needs at 7. He is cool under pressure, but when the whips are cracking for the rest of the game, he seldom threatens.

His defence is as good as any halves in the game, and better than most........ and, yes, he personally won us 3 or 4 games this year.......... of course he is going to get a new contract.

Pretty sure the club won't judge him poorly for playing through injury in this single last game there.

Exactly.

No leadership direction control and creativity. Nothing.

When ur half back passes to a forward who then has nowhere to run so just kicks it - theres a massive massive problem.

Would not re-sign him to be honest. Would rather Mbye be in the halves.

I'm a fan and would keep him. Making origin and a grand final are pretty good qualifications for mine, played injured tonight and it told.

Mbye played well tonight and can see a future for him.

Lucky he kicked a goal or I wouldn't have known he was on the field Sunday :grinning:

I actually think it is more likely we keep him after the GF... No team will offer him 800 a season or something ridiculous now. That was my number 1 concern with Hodkinson, provided the money is right I think we should keep him.

He's getting surgery during the off season to hopefully fix the knee properly now. As long as we don't break the bank for him them I'm happy to keep him on.
