At the end of the day the guy can play . He comes across as quite arrogant but i've never meet the guy, so who am i to judge. If Des wants him then i would welcome him with open arms. He could be the missing link.

I doubt Des would sign him if he didn't think he would fit into our team make up. The guy has won premierships, origins, tests and numerous awards including a churchill medal.

I don't give a **** if he comes across as arrogant to the media, and looks at times to be a whinger. If having Boyd is what the coaching team and recruitment at Canterbury think we need then so be it . I'll support him if he wears a blue and white jersery.

Above all i want to win a fricken premiership, and if that means you need a few people in the team that don't have the greatest persona then so be it.

All seriousness though, Boyd stifles all attacking plays when playing Fullback. He did it at the Dragons and he's doing it right now at the Knights. Chuck him on the Wing, or he can piss off.
