Did we hire the Parramatta recruitment team this year ? Not much to look forward to at this stage . Even more depressing is the cheersquad gone

No true 'stars' may have been signed from other clubs but maybe you should look at the players retained as well.

Agreed.

I would have signed a replacement for a certain marquee player we let go or i wouldn't have let him go. I also wouldn't have wasted $1 dollar of the salary cap on a has been (reni) and a never will be (stanley).

I totally agree with you,I've mentioned this previously and got criticised like you will but while des is a super coach ,the recruitment has been horrendous

Who would you have replaced Barba with? Remember that Locke and Hoffman are still under contract.

Locke was at one stage given permission to look around. I don't know who i would have signed as i don't know which players the club actually talked to if any at all.

The recruitment has absolutely been horrendous and Des deserves to wear some criticism for that.
I think des has been amazing for us overall but a balanced look at things suggests his recruitment has been poor.
The way he handled t- rex last year was awful also.
I will be the first to praise des but he should not be above criticism also. Hope he has us firing come round 1.
