Do yourselves a favor and take a look at players #662 all the way to player #702 and just take in how many duds debuted for us in that period. Literally a hall of fame of meme players.

Maybe but factor in 13 new players in 2005 & 16 in 2008 which were 2 years when we had massive injury tolls. I don't know how the salary cap & Top 30 system would cope with that sort of load these days.

We used over 32 players in the 2005 season - and this was when it was a 25 man squad.

01. Luke Patten/Trent Cutler/Luke Young (2)
02. Hazem El Masri/ Filinga Filiga (4)
03. Ben Harris/Jamal Lolesi (6)
04. Willie Tonga/ Cameran Phelps (8)
05. Matt Utai/Makasini Rickhter (10)
06. Braith Anasta (11)
07. Brent Sherwin/Brett Oliver (12)
08. O'Meley/Ben Czilworstcunt/Brad Morrin/Charlie Tonga (16)
09. Adam Perry/Corey Hughes/Daniel Irvine (19)
10. Willie Mason/Chris Armit/Roy Asotasi (22)
11. Nate Myles/Adam Brideson (24)
12. Andrew Ryan/Reni Matuia (26)
13. Sonny Bill Williams/Dallas McIllwain/Daniel Conn/Tony Grimaldi (30)

I am sure I am missing some, just off the top of my head.

Yep but it wasn't as restrictive as it is today.

The amount of “what ifs” that runs through my mind if individuals kept their egos in check and don’t destroy clubs by being influenced by outside sources and literally just leaving dead in the night like a rebellious child. I can’t deal. Depressing inducing. I’ve been watching shit all night
