Sorry I'm cranky but I haven't had a beer for 3 weeks now and have to wait another 2 weeks for my next one.

That sucks, sorry to hear that mate.

My question is can we talk about other delicious alcohols too? Tequila and rum and scotch and bourbon. Mmmmmm
 
Maybe change it to the booze appreciation thread?

Love me a good Kraken Rum. You can get driven off rum easily in Australia due to Bundaberg Rum (horrible stuff) but actual Rum (Jamaican/Caribbean Rum) is excellent and it doesn't get better than Kraken.

Canadian Club and Jameson's are great cheap whiskey's too.

Yes! Kraken is quality. Have you tried Goslings Black Seal rum?

I'm a homo and love Malibu and pineapple juice.

But when I feel straight I LOVE Johnnie Walker double black with a cigar. Not that I'm allowed to drink anymore.

Mexicans do drink Corona. Both here and in Mexico.

It will of course taste better in Mexico, all beer tastes better fresh.

But what's with all the attempts to homoise it? Just squeeze a bit of lime on the rim, maybe turn it upside down to infuse it if you're game and then drink the bloody thing.

Btw, can we please keep this to beer and places to buy/consume said beer?

Modelo, Corona and Pacifico are owned by the same mob. Modelo comes in a dark beer which isn't bad from memory (Modelo Negro? ).
 
If anyone is going to Vanuatu in the near future (and/or you hear about it), I would be willing to pay a sizeable fee in order to secure a case of "Tusker".

Can't import it.
No-one stocks it.
