I've only ever seen him do opinion pieces, and his opinion doesn't count.

Mate I can’t see Flanagan working.
He undermined Mary at the Steelers and is only interested in being a Head Coach again. Plus he’d pressure for Kyle to be picked (assuming he remains at the club) and that’s not a good outcome for us. We need to lose Flanagans, not add more of them.

Just being Pay back ( if he would have us) as the defensive coach already! He got the boys defending like animals on his watch. It was just our attack that was terrible. If Baz is the attacking maestro they make him out to be, and Pay is proven to get the best defense out of a weak roster, then I dare say its a match made in heaven and Pay can get some redemption knowing he has better cattle to work with.

I think results/improvement wise Flanagan would be a massive upgrade. I don't think he'd come to be an assistant tho (and rightly so he's too good to be an assistant). We're stuck with his son anyways as no one wants him even for minimum wage.
