Yeah mate, he has put in a lot of hard work and achieved everything in that job that he set out too, that’s what makes it a big call. A development contract would be less than 50% of what he’s earning now. The majority of football players never earn the big money and if they do it’s usually not for a very long period of time there are exceptions but it’s less than a few percent. But as I have said it will be his call and either way I am proud of the man he is.

BBO is one of the most unluckiest and underrated players in recent years.

Under Barrett he was placed on the bench several times and never used.

With all our injuries it could have been his year to shine.

He could have been our next Ben Barba.

He certainly got the rough end of the pineapple from Barrett and the mug who did the hip drop on him.

Guess it proves just how hard it is to forge a lengthy NRL career even when you have the raw talent, it takes the stars and moons to align to succeed.

Gus gave him an extension for 2024 so here's wishing him the best for next year.
