I have been going over the team to be playing the kiwis next week - and tbh - on form - i think we will see a team where 1-10 are all QLD'ers. And why not... 3 SOO's in a row.

Good team, JB but, IMO, Jennings is a must. Form centre of the NRL and doesn't deserve to miss out.

O'Donnell and Glenn Stewart can't make it IMO. Stewart has been woeful this season, completely gone missing, and O'Donnell is slowly getting back to where he was a few years ago but still wouldn't be in my top 5 NSW second rowers let alone Australian second rowers. But that was your opinion and I respect that and this is mine.

Either way it will and should be QLD dominated. My team:

1: Hunt (Slater been very poor this year and was shocking in the World Cup final)

Haha. Yeah, but he retired all together, then played for Catalans retired from rep footy and played for NZ, retired again and is playig for the Warriors so history says he changes his mind alot.

I think he has been mentioned in discussions so we shall see. Either way Roberts/Marshall are probably both in better form than they have ever been.

That's some good halves. Isaac Luke is out of form though. Once he started believing his own hype, he dropped off.

Haha. Yeah maybe so but I also think Jason Taylor has f**ked up in not playing him more and not showing more confidence in him.

He is their only option tbh. Fien isn't close to the player Luke is.

Actually, Hohaia has to be on the bench if fit! Best bench utility in the game I reckon. He always kills it in Internationals. I'll edit my team now.

Pretty much my team, only swap Thiaday with Laffranchi.

Slater's brain lapses let him down and is a liabilty, plus the Lockyer + Hunt combination looks to be firing for the broncos and is too good to pass up.

Even though he is about as good as utilities go, I would have Hohia starting in the number 1, he just offers so much more than Perrett and his gets so involved in all aspects of play.

I would also swap Matai and Ropati around so you you have the Ropati + Vatuvei combo (Gidley + Tahu anyone ?) that works so well for the warriors.

Fein at 6 (even though he has been crap lately) and Benji at 7.

Im surprised you left Ben Matalino out of a bench spot, I know you rate him much like I do.

I think what I have said pretty much represents the side that beat Aus in the world cup final and TBH I don't see Kearney making many changes. No Wayne Bennett factor this time is going to make a difference.
