Opinion Ash Taylor or Mitchell Pearce

Neither. Both appear to be trouble off-field.

Pearce is too slow now, he killed the newcastle attack on the weekend. Ponga needs it first off the ruck not out the fukn back.
Taylor is a 6, he doesnt handle the pressure of a 7.
IMO none of the above are better than Averillo or have a higher ceiling than Averillo.
I'm with you, Pearce isn't the answer for us.

I'd have Shaun Johnson and Pearce ahead and maybe Fogarty on par. He's on close to 850k next year, any club looking to take him on would need to pick up a big chunk of that.
Hunt, Johnson, Pearce(a bit better)but you have a point after that is maybe around 10th "best" but still wouldn't entertain any of these.Taylor isn't the right fit even if he was good enough.
For halfbacks:
Equal 3rd for Try Assists
Equal 4th for Try Contributions
5th for Line Break Assists
5th for Forced Drop Outs

In a side that ran 12th - admittedly he has to take his portion of blame for that

Apparently wherever Pearce signs there is a ban on owning dogs within 30km of his house for their protection

Taylor might handle the pressure better being on 300,000 rather than the pressure of being on 1,000,000
Better than what we have

If they're our only options, All of a sudden,Averillo doesn't look so bad

Especially if he signs a one year deal. It's more of a prove it season for him. Just keep him away from the pokies. Ensure he finds a proper hobby.

That said. I say we would need to move another half on first for that to happen. Waiting for Madge to get punted, Flannagan to take over the Tigers and ask if he can have his son over there.

Pearce if had to be one or the other. But preferably neither one tbh .!!

Neither but if forced to choose Ash Taylor.

He is young and at least has time on his side to try and improve.

Pearce is old and broken and will only just get worse. There is no improvement left in him.

1. Cleary
2. Hughes
3. DCE
4. Reynolds
5. Moses
6. Hunt
7. Johnson
8. Fogarty
9. Pearce
10. Townsend
11. Brooks
12. Taylor

S. Walker behind Lam and Hutchison atm so hard to place him. On potential (and shown a fair bit this year to be fair) S. Walker's around Moses. I probably wouldn't take anyone under Fogarty to replace Averillo at halfback either which basically means we can't get a better option all things considered.
Id even have Sam walker and Brandon Trindall in front of brooks

Is there a meme that is the opposite of the "why not both?" meme?
