yes, it will be me as ive signed on as high performance gatorade specialist, and orange peel guru for the kennel. i was approached by uncle Gus personally at a family function and ive been given strict guidelines to not reveal who the other 2 major signings are, and also that im not to offer any gatorade or oranges to Kyle Fannygums...

all jokes aside im new here and for some reason finally got a confirmation email months later, so this was my first comment lol... shout out to the kennel and no gatorade for Fannybum!!!

Anyone hear about Nathan brown
Dogs (Gus) meeting with him tomorrow
Would be an awesome pick up and at a good price
Now Jackson is gone maybe... But I guess it all depends if TPJ plays edge. Could rotate Sutton and Brown in middle if so.

Brown could have good impact off the bench for us at a decent price. We could do with more forwards who can come on and make a physical statement, but he's always a suspension risk.

Nathan Brown is an interesting option - something went wrong at Parra, sometimes a change can make a world of difference.

I seem to recall he knocked back a pretty decent offer to stay at Parra a while ago

I'm not a fan because I don't like his antics, however he might add some mongrel to our pack, and he is quite mobile.

One interesting stat I found is that he only played the full 80 mins in one game last year, where he ran for 181m (86 post contact) and made 39 tackles!!

His next most minutes was 66 against the storm, where he made 42 tackles and ran over 150m, so the guy has good a good motor.

He is also surprisingly bigger in real like than he looks on TV.
With Jacko gone we do probably need a lock who can do a heap of tackles. TPJ, Kikau, RFM aren't really high workrate players. Others need to cover for them. He is a bit bigger than I thought. 104kgs (heavier than Thompson) and a touch under 6 foot.

I’d be happy with Brown. Our pack would be among top in comp. Be good to watch a game where our boys don’t get dominated through the middle.

Still Going into 2023 without a quality 1 and 7. Will Gus and CC pull a rabbit out of the hat before round 1 and fill one of these key spine positions?

The only Brown I read coming to the Dogs is Fa’amanu Brown just being signed back to the club as a backup hooker. Not a bad backup I think and can play in the halves. Will go well with a good forward pack.

A Sydney club has apparently offered Nanai 4.2m over 5 years.
List of Sydney Clubs (Right Second Rowers)

Manly:
(Haumole Olakau'atu)
Rabbitohs: (Keoan Koloamatangi)
Roosters: (Sitili Tupouniua)
Panthers: (Liam Martin)
Sharks: (Briton Nikora)
Dragons: (Jaydn Su'a)
Tigers: (Isaiah Papalii)
Bulldogs: (YES)
Eels: (YES)
Canberra: If they may be the Sydney club, surely it's not them. Elliot Whitehead is their right second rower and they are favourites to sign David Fifita. Also, heard that Canberra are the only club who made an offer to Fifita.

Which 19 year old would be that dumb not to take $4.2m over 5 years?

His dad Heka Nanai played for us, and it's a very good chance it may be us or Parra. Hopefully, he accepts our offer if it's us.

I would happily take Nanai over Fifita anyday of the week.

World class NRL youngster offered “monster” $4.2 million deal after impressing at Leeds Rhinos & St Helens’ stadiums in Rugby League World Cup

A 19-year-old sensation could be set to earn $4.2 million dollars in his next career.

The young man is North Queensland Cowboys young gun Jeremiah Nanai who at the age of 19 has starred for Australia during the Rugby League World Cup.

Though he won’t play in the final, he debuted against Fiji in the opening game at Leeds Rhinos’ Headingley before claiming the Man of the Match at St Helens against Italy.

On November 1st he became available to talk to other clubs entering the last 12 months of his deal.

The young man reportedly fielded several huge offers according to the Daily Telegraph with one club offering him $0.8 million in his first season with gradual increase year on year culminating in a total for the deal at $4.2 million.

However, North Queensland football boss Micheal Luck is confident that they will keep him.

“We know there will be interest and we would like to think as soon as he comes back home we can begin discussions again about securing him long term,” Luck said.

“We understand other clubs will come in with big offers, but we would love him to see out his career here.

“We’ll put forward a package that makes Jeremiah and his family comfortable with his future here.

“We’re confident our offer will be competitive regardless of what other clubs are offering and we’d like to think at this stage of Jeremiah’s career he is confident in our club and the direction we’re heading in.

“With any younger talent like Jeremiah there is always going to be interest in him and that is testimony to how well he played this year and how much scope he still has to improve.”
