That’s why polling showed the majority of American voters would have supported sanders had his adopted party not completely screwed him over.... and you look st the way polling is going here... that suggests to me this alt right backlash isn’t as strong as it’s advocates like to boast. Very true. Trump's win has been blamed on everything from rigged election to fake news. The fact is that a lot of misinformation helped Trump but he never would have been in that position if it wasn't for the American people being pissed off at the fake Liberals. Hillary didn't lose because she was a woman or because of the evil Russians. She lost because she was the next in a long line of fake Liberals that the American public hated. They hadn't forgiven Bill Clinton, and while Obama was actually really good for the country in regard to his health care act, he didn't help the financial situation of the country and he didn't help the unemployment rates. It also didn't help that he carried out more drone strikes than any President before him.

People voted Trump 'cause they were fed up with the way America was going. Not because it's a racist country, not because it's a sexist country. Because it's a country lead by fake politicians. I personally think totalitarian Socialism is a completely flawed and it has never worked but I honestly think Bernie would have done a better job. Pure Socialism will never work but a Socialist leading a non-Socialist country would have gotten to the heart of the problems. Except for the one main flaw. Bernie wouldn't have done anything to fix the debt crisis.

Absolutely senseless. Mental Health is obviously an issue BUT SO MANY people there have mental health issues that we don't know of - the Las Vegas terrorist for instance. Mental Health illness isn't as clear as daylight. There are people who have it and don't even know it. So obviously the only way to deal with this is to BAN GUN OWNERSHIP FFS. More and more innocent people will die until something is done to change this.

Yep. It's a multi-faceted issue. The American health system is crap so even if people wanted to get help, they couldn't afford it. People with mental health issues rarely seek help on their own until they do something like this. And guns can't be banned due to the Constitution. And even if they could change the Constitution, they can't because of the NRA backlash. The American public are screwed. It will keep getting worse and the problem will never be fixed.

In 50 years from now the general public will own rifles with smart bullets that can track and kill anyone you want from miles away and the NRA will still defend the rights of people to own these guns. There's no logic there.

Yep. But someone would create a counter to them. Scramblers, anti-missile systems, etc. It could still be pretty bad.

The things are actually in the developmental stage too but each bullet costs hundreds of thousands of dollars and they're not entirely effective yet.

That's basically the plan for them. Right now they find a single target then send in a drone strike. They kill the target but also kill a bunch of innocent civilians. It's more logical to send a single bullet.
