He called out Dufty, JMK and Flannagan and basically said they weren't up to NRL standard and shouldn't be there. He called out Burton and said he isn't in form and has been passing like shit. 2024 will be do or die.

Not really mate.

We were never a chance to sign Reynolds. He is on huge third party deals up there. It was just never going to happen unless we offered him something like $1.2 million which we never had because of the money Flanno is on. Also keep in mind its only Round 11 and he is out again tonight. A long, long way to go before he sees out his contract.

As for Hynes I dont think anyone thought he was a halfback. Looks a five eighth for all money and we already had one of them.

There was only one halfback on the market in our price range and we nearly got him (Johnson). We have also signed the only decent hooker on the market for next year.

Its already for Joey to say we need a halfback but then he doesnt come up with a solution. He actually said there are buggar all good halfbacks in the lower grades coming through.
