I know what was meant by it, however the comparison could of been made to 100 other young players suffering knee injuries, but comparing him to tedesco insinuates that he will be the next big thing....
No it doesn't. It insinuates that he can still reach his potential after 2 serious knee injuries. It doesnt suggest he will be as good as tedesco.

Recruitment guru, Peter O'Sullivan, who currently works for the Warriors, rates Hopoate as the best teenager in the game at the moment.

He said Hopoate is more talented than Knights young gun Bradman Best and is in the same class as highly touted teen star Joseph Suaalii.

"He's a class act, coming through the ranks he set up a try for Bradman Best to win the under 16s Origin game in 2017 on the full-time bell," O'Sullivan told The Daily Telegraph.

"He's the best player in that age group coming through … you see how good Bradman Best, and I'm not being disrespectful to Bradman, but Albert was a lot better.

"He's a natural footy player and he's in the elite bracket with the 'Suaaliis' and those sort of characters."

Damn those are some pretty big raps from someone who knows what he's talking about. I didn't know he was that good.
Get him over here and let him battle it out with Staines.

not sure whether he can play centre or not but maybe hes just looking for a first grade spot. would be happy to give him a run on the wing to start off with and then move him later if he is handling it well. Just seems like a no brainer really, players with potential like him, burton, staines looking for an opportunity to play regular first grade and probably wouldnt break the bank

Yeah man definitely also with the timing of all these young guns we’ve been linked to coming off contract Would be exciting to have some young prospects with real potential fighting for spots something we’ve lacked for ages

And youngsters that are first grade ready.
Good times ahead for a long time if we can land them here.

They train at Narrabeen but Brookvale is a shithole. Maybe they skimp on medical treatment if they couldn’t afford furniture
You think their training facilities is a shithole, go to the leagues club, so depressing, same as it was in the late eighties.

If we sign him, that's another fantastic career ruined.

Jack Bird and now Hoppa Jnr does that mean every recruit has to have multiple knee reco’s?
Yea as long as they supply their own wheelchairs and or crutches they are offered contracts

This would be an easy sell

He’s not happy at Manly
His brother a senior player at bulldogs
We need outside backs that have X factor

Who the fk runs our recruitment

Jamil is horrible. We can't keep signing duds who take up squad spots. Albert would be a good signing. I'd prefer Staines though.
Bro he goes alright.. I thought the same but he was genuinely pretty good last night and probably Brisbane's best. He played like Will last night just stronger and in all seriousness would be pretty handy if it also meant securing Albert.

Staines wants way to much for an unproven young gun tbh... Haven't even seen Staines break a line or have to defend so it's a bit premature to be signing a kid on massive money

Jamil had a few games during the year where he was very error prone. That's the main reason why he was dropped. He has ability. We're stacked in the second row so I doubt it's a signing we'll make anyways (Jackson, RFM, Stimson, Doorey, Topine, etc.)
