Simple... We hold him to his contract just the same as Penrith did this year.. I wished all along they had of released him early but they would have been crazy to... This is justified as look how good it's worked for both him and club when he got his opportunity.... We jest need to stand firm as Penrith did and say he's under contract.... Simple

Where is this coming from Alzz? Is there an article or story about it?

Either way, Burton is leaving mainly so he can play in the halves. So even if Penrith want him to stay, he has little interest in doing so because Luai and Cleary are their halves and they've won 21 straight regular season games mainly with that combo.

So yes, Penrith are scum fuckwits, but Burton is all ours and people need to stop thinking he'll back out or other teams will try and steal him. We signed him, he's locked up, he's happy to be joining us and that's all there is to it..

Let just hope we sign some decent players around him for next year and we start winning games. It’s the only way to extend him beyond his two years.

Exactly. So what's there to worry about? Do you think our club will do them favours especially after they tried to trade rape us with getting an early release for Burton? Hell no! He's all ours. Just relax and enjoy the fact that 22 and beyond will finally be the start of a new era.

Absolutely. That's the key part. We should look to entend him for whatever he wants sd early as possible. He's the type of player you build a club around.
