I watched a replay of that game in the past month on Fox League. It was just before the finals. Both were brilliant.

I still think Barba 2012 was better. He was unfortunate to face probably the best ever Storm team imo.

In my opinion that was the worst Bellamy team to win a title. Bellamy just outcoached Hasler & our players didn't aim up.

Imo Souths have to double down on that left edge Wighton has to play left centre. Illias will eventually be dropped for Hawkins

Exactly. Barba 2012 is probably the greatest ever individuals season I have seen. He even won the Dally M by a record margin.

The topic was who was better at their peak. When Hayne went on a roll ofter round 10 that was his peak. His peak was higher than Barba during 2012.

Just like Ponga vs Walsh last year. Ponga did nothing the first 10 rounds then went on fire. His last 14-15 games were way better than Walsh all season.
