Watched the replay last night and checked the NRL feed this morning. That 68min one is the kicker - no foul play and if its a HIA then TPJ is off the field for 15mins. The only way I can see it working was if somehow Kenny was off for a HIA, but he was subbed in the 58th min for Api as interchange #6. What a ballsup...

Fair dinkum they need to get this right and they need to close the loopholes using free interchange for things other than head injuries. Fair enough if it is foul play related but still....the first Kenny TPJ was not foul play; the second not foul play but I don't think that there was HIA either..

Interchange number 7 which is the total reported on NRL match review was at 58.10 into the match so all the others after that were free; four of them but then an additional one noted as the eighth one at 78-30...Confused well join the queue....

an excellent finals game and I thought the lack of a good hooker cost the Eels... too much bad service out of the dummy half IMO

the Panthers know how to exploit the system... consistently holding down Eels players on the first tackle so that their defensive line can get set and blunting any Eels momentum for the cost of a six again, which in effect is a penalty of one extra tackle... having their trainer call for the game to be stopped for a Panthers player on the ground 15 metres behind the play while the Eels were attacking their line down 2 points with time running out... and the injury was having his foot trodden on

Luai's form has really fallen away... Naden was good bringing the ball out early in sets --> looks a better option than Staines in truth... Paulo was awesome... hopefully, TPJ harnesses but controls his anger when with us

Mate it has been happening all year and I would hazard a guess that if you looked back through the stats over the season there would be particular clubs who have refined the technique to perfection....Parramatta and Melbourne being two. Until the NRL wake up to themselves and close the loopholes making the free interchange strictly like player for like player and only for head injury or foul play where the player is obviously hurt not just the fact that the offender was put on report and penalised this rort will continue.......
