Both penalties were soft in that last set. Wonder what the bet was for panthers to be up at the half....

Neither of those would have been penalties in any other finals game in history. Ref is literally blowing the game here. If it stays this close in the second half his whistle will be the decider.

Quality game so far, both teams had some great opportunities to score atleast a couple more tries but defense is holding strong for both sides.

Penrith just have a bit more smarts around the ruck with Korisau.

Parra have done well via the kicking game of Moses and there defence has been good. They’d be ecstatic being down only 2 at half time.

Ivan will give the Panferrrs a rev up and the Eels will true to form fail to complete their sets and the floodgates will open.

The commentary is Panthers attack is out of sorts or that Parra's defence is that good. But its the ref managing the ruck. There were a couple of sets where the ref was giving Parra the same treatment and and the riff looked dangerous straight away.

Penrith blew two tries, and that other no try looked like a try to me just sooky Moses flopping around like a fish to get a penalty.

Moses is effectively in the refs head, unbelievable that he got penriffs second try disallowed. If he doesn't attempt a tackle on a player without the ball said player goes straight through the line and Moses is clear to attempt to chase the play, and would never have been able to get across and defend where the try was scored any way.
