Voleuse De Coeurs... Run and won over the distance and drops in weight from last win over the distance. Barrier not too much of a concern, however Jockey could be!

Statistically, Jim Cassidy has never lost a Melb Cup, he is riding Hawkspur (favourite for the Caulfield cup only 2 weeks ago).

They should feature somewhere at the end.
I think it's a young horse? my only query , spot on re hawkspur - is this the hardest cup to pick for years or what?

My tip is dear Demi or dandino they both have form coming into the race and as a big roughie dunaden or voleuse de coeurs these two horse have raced the distance we'll before and dunaden has beaten most of these horses already before carrying weight and Vdc is coming in with a light weight

Putting my money on Brown Panther. Ex Liverpool/England player Michael Owen owns it, so he'll never walk alone. No idea if it's any good or not.

I placed $1 on Fiorente for a laugh. That's the only $7 in my TAB account lol

Had $10 on Red Cardeux at $51 (or $41.. something like that). Curse you Fiorente.

Spewing, you had to go each way. It was paying $11.50 for a place finish
Checked my bets. I put 3 bets. Two horses for place and win and Red Cadeaux for only win. And RC is the only one of those horses that finished in the top 3. But if I put money on Red Cadeaux for place he wouldn't have finished the race, such are my powers of anti-luck.
