He wasn't that big relative to opposition s but he played with incredible aggression with n without the ball. To me similar to kotoni staggs , Jessie ramien.
Hope he gets some height rather than width.
It's not much to go on but even that shot (that he didn't even follow through with) dropped Lumelume. He has a certain look about how he plays that is exciting, but you never know how young guns will go stepping up a few levels. I won't be getting my hopes up too high just yet.

This was his first match against men right? Not a bad performance considering how young and inexperienced he is. He only made the most metres out of the squad. He had a few early lapses, but looked better the longer the game went. He's not ready but not far off.

He will be better for the run
Obviously nervous but you can see he is a talent, give him some time in reserve grade and then have him there for the back end

He had a shocking start but that's understandable in your first game in the top grade, even in a trial.. He got better and calmed down as the game went on.

Some of his carries were good and his footwork was evident. I was surprised he got run down so quickly by Clune though. Thought Alamoti had a bit more pace..

Defense is what he needs to improve the most. All in all it was a good first taste for him and I'm sure he'll learn a lot from it.

He’s like a little human troll doll. Can’t believe how little he is. Ripped **** but he’d walk under the gap beneath my door no prob

Tonight’s shocker will be good for him in the long run. Good kid.

The first 8-12 rounds in reserve grade will do him the world of good also. Watch him make his presence felt in the back half of this season..

I remember kotoni staggs getting shown up by Morgan Harper in NSW cup. Took him a while but then he just exploded out of nowhere. Alamoti only turned 18 last month so he’s got so much time. He’s going to be a huge talent once he gets some experience.

Let's not forget how poor Patolo was on his debut and how quickly he improved after.. Alamoti will be fine. He'll get to play NSW Cup this year which will be great for his development to play against grown men every week as opposed to dominating other teenagers.

Looks like he has added some good weight, probably has slowed him down.
Everybody thinks that Alamoti will get the ball and score off every play, his time in the nrl will come soon

When I saw him in the clear, my mind flashed back to Hopoate and his pedestrian pace.

When he did get the ball early, he looked dangerous. Some work to do defensively but the future is very bright for this kid whose only just turned 18, he’s something special.

Being his first game at NRL pace, he was a little gassed and remember, the kid only just turned 18 - guys who are fully developed have that advantage so don’t be too disheartened, he’ll have good pace in another 12/24 months. Remember he’s a specialist centre so he doesn’t need to have incredible speed.

Im not too worried him not having express pace. Power is the key attribute in his game, as long as he can move well laterally, read the defense and can create for his winger.
Correct. Much like Utai his strength is power not speed, especially over a long distance.
