as much as I love the signing of Matt Burton, we do not have enough talent in the remaining spots in the spine to contend for a finals spot IMO

I don’t know what to make of baz apparently he’s a great attacking coach but really what has he shown?
last season was dreadful he did recruit flano,Allan,waddle look how that turned out
end of the day the buck stops with him and Gus has proven to be ruthless, think this year for him is a make or break tbh I wish him well no hating want him to succeed means we succeed too and he was one of us

He recruited what he could with the available salary cap space. Flanno and Allan, unwanted by their clubs and Waddell was a reserve grade player. So I can’t imagine any of them would have been big money signings.

Way too soon to guess. Hopefully the team finds attacking form in the trials and turn from the defensive shambles we were last year into a cohesive committed unit that makes other teams work hard to score.

We have just enough new talent IMO to finish in the 8 if we have some luck and find early form.
